Cycle syncing. It’s the most empowering practice for women. At least that’s what we think. It’s a tool that maps your symptoms every month alongside your menstrual cycle, helping you to understand your body better and ultimately transform your life. But how exactly does it work?
Put simply, combined with Nutritional Therapy, we view your body systems as a whole. We don’t just address your symptoms individually; we work hard to identify the underlying root causes of them. And through years of clinical practice, we recognize that many issues women face are often grounded in hormone imbalance. This can be low moods, menstrual cramps, heavy periods, missing periods, acne and even excessive facial hair.
We’re very transparent. Cycle syncing is quite complicated work. Sometimes, the hormonal imbalance itself can be the result of an imbalance elsewhere in the body. This may include digestive issues, poor detoxification, nutritional deficiencies and much more. Either way, our aim is to go straight to the source of your problems and establish harmony.
What's Cellular Alchemy®?
Our bodies are made of 50 trillion cells. As if that's not impressive enough, every single cell acts just like the human body as whole. What does that even mean?
Our cells have their own reproductive, respiratory, immune, cardiovascular, skeletal and detox systems. In fact, they even have their own brains! The cell membrane. Just as our own sensory system sends signals to our brain that determines how we act and feel, our cells have their own too.
In science talk we call them receptor sites. But we like to think of them as the cells' eyes, ears, hands, noses and mouths.
Why does this matter? Well, in short, we believe it's the key to unlocking your health and vitality. Our cells come together to make tissue, which come together to make an organ. Organs join together to make a system, which all come together to make you. By understanding what stimulates our cells' sensory system (or blocks them), we might be able to influence how they behave and in turn support our health.
What excites us most is that new science has shown this shapes how our genes express themselves too. Pretty cool, hey?
Minerals, vitamins, chemicals, hormones and energetic fields. These are the images, sounds, words and flavours that tell our cells how to act. Change them and your cells might just function differently. Get the change right and you might just shift your body towards better wellbeing.
This is why Kay's method primarily focuses on genetic testing and hormone balance through nutritional therapy and lifestyle practices. It's transformative.
This is cellular alchemy.
What's more is, it's a personalized process. We humans are all different; so it's only right that our healthcare considers our unique selves first. We listen to your story and analyze your medical history. And we recommend tests to help us understand what's going on before making any dietary and lifestyle changes.
We don't claim to treat your hormonal conditions. But we can certainly support you. And the results can be pretty astonishing. Using scientifically proven whole foods and supplements we target your underlying imbalance and aim to restore it. So you can feel your best. Again.

It all began 16 years ago. Like many young teens I was fed up of my period. Every month I experienced what my mother called “mini labour”. My body would turn cold white, head over the loo throwing up and I endured the most excruciating stomach cramps that no amount of pain killers could cancel out. It was awful. And as you can imagine the anticipation of them every month was even worse. Especially as they were infrequent and I could never fully prepare myself for when my period ‘hit me’.
But that wasn’t all. I suffered with cystic acne well into my 20s and experienced terrible mood swings too. It was obvious to everyone around me that they were particularly bad in the wake of menstruation. Our early adult years can be challenging itself as we try to discover who we really are. But with all of these issues lurking in the background, life was much more stressful.
The turning point
It took one Teen Vogue article and I had my ‘ah-ha’ moment. The article explained common symptoms experienced with Polystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I ticked almost all the boxes and begged my mother to take me to the doctors for diagnosis. My hunch was spot on. One blood test and an ultrasound later, it was confirmed that I had excess testosterone and cysts on my ovaries that resulted in hormonal havoc every month.
“It’s not something that can be treated”, the doctor said. “We don’t know what causes it and we won’t know whether you can have kids until you start trying. But the good news is, Victoria Beckham has it and she’s got two”. Every word he said crushed me and they’ve stuck with me ever since. I left the clinic with a prescription for the contraceptive pill at just 15 years of age and an unanswered question that would frame my future and career. Why? Why was my body doing this to me?
"My mission is simple.
I want to help women feel their best. I believe it all
starts with hormonal balance.”
Of course, conventional medicine has its place and it's something I still recommend and respect. But the pill offered nothing more than a crutch. It masked my symptoms for a couple of years, but every time I came off it, my symptoms came back with a vengeance. This never sat well with me. I wanted to address the underlying cause and be done with it once and for all.
What came next was many years of trial and error. Self-study and seeking out alternative therapies and solutions. I became my own master of hormones and mapped every month to every minute detail and noticed changes depending on what I ate and how much stress I experienced every month. What I didn’t realise then, was that I had started cycle syncing at a time when scientific research was just starting to gain momentum in this area of health; validating the results I was seeing in my own life. Cycle syncing helped me to get in tune with my body and work with it, rather than against it. I can honestly say it changed my life forever and helped establish health and vitality.
It was only a matter of time before I connected the dots and realised my life’s purpose. In my early 20s I retrained in Functional Nutrition at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition and committed myself to the study and application of lifestyle and nutrition science for hormonal health.
Today I use my experience to help balance women’s hormones for happier lives. I have given talks up and down the country to help re-educate and empower women about how to master thier hormones. I’ve worked with large corporations like Facebook and Net-a-Porter. And pinch myself every day, for the recognition I’ve received. The Evening Standard says that I’m “the women that’ll fix your balance” and Stylist Magazine calls me “The Hormone Whisperer”. But I like to think of myself as an everyday woman who’s mastered her hormones with an evidence based approach to lifestyle medicine. And now my team and I help so many other women, from menarche to menopause, master their hormones too.
